Councillor Vacancy in the Euxton ward

Presently there is a vacancy for a Councillor in Euxton. There was no call for an election and the vacancy will be filled by co-option.

Applications are invited and any person wishing to serve as a Councillor should write to the Clerk giving details of interests, experience and reasons for wishing to serve.

Clerk to the Council, Euxton Parish Council, Unit 16 CBTC East Terrace, Euxton Lane, Euxton, PR7 6TE

To qualify, a person must be a British subject or citizen of the Irish Republic, over 18 years of age and an elector, must reside within the parish of Euxton, or within 3 miles of it, or occupy as owner or tenant any land or premises therein, or have their principal or only place of work there, and must not be disqualified from holding office as a Councillor (details from the Clerk).
